Alumni Spotlight: Kara Lynae de Lambert

Kara Lynae de Lambert is an alumni from Sonoma State University where she majored in Art History and minored in Arts Management. Throughout college, she worked at the University Art Gallery and Image Collection at SSU, and at the di Rosa Foundation (now di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art) in Napa. Shortly after graduating in 2012, she started her own art consulting and curatorial business, Lynae Arts. Kara is now the Curator at Imagery Estate Winery in Glen Ellen and for over 11 years has managed the Artistry Label Program commissioning emerging and established artists for the wine label brand.
In 2015, she expanded her business to personal property appraisals, earning the Core Course in Appraisals Studies certificate at the International Society of Appraisers (ISA) and she has completed the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisals Practice (USPAP). Kara currently offers fine art appraisals for insurance and verbal opinion of value.
Currently, Kara works in Healdsburg, CA with over 13 years of experience in the fine art industry in Sonoma County, San Francisco, and North Bay Area.
